New Style HX35 TO Non Intercooled Truck

Would a hx35 that has the wastegate actuator bolted the compressor housing be clocked to work on my truck if I use a non wategated exhaust housing? Also what about the oil line? I know I would have to rig up something to connect it to my air horn. The big thing I want to know is if it can be clocked to line up with my air horn. I can figuire out the rest. I think

Thanks

If you use a non-wastegated housing than you don't have the wastegate actuator so you can clock the compressor housing wherever you want. Or am I missing something?

You are correct I would have no actuator. What I am not sure of is if the compressor housing can be turned. I know this might be a stupid question, but I don't know much about the parts on the 24v trucks.

It can be clocked just like the 12valve HX35's can. The compressor housings should be the same, with the exception of the wastegate actuator mount. I have an earlier HX-35 on my non-IC truck, look in gallery for pics.

To reclock an HX-35, just use a big pair of pliers to remove the snap ring at the back of the compressor housing, turn the housing to where you want it, and put the snap ring back. Watch your fingers and have somebody help you, those big snap rings are mean.
