New 1st Gen Owner!
Thanks for all the comments, gents! I may have paid top dollar, but like some said, that is a subjective judgement. I think it is getting very difficult to find one like this in this condition, and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. The original asking price was $20k (obviously not reasonable). But at least I did much better than that. And if it turns out to really be all he says it is, I am sure I will be happy with it.
I'll keep you posted after I get it home and start driving it. I have a big project planned to build a new garage out back, so there's pleny of haulin' on tap for it this summer!
