Need some quick help
Need some quick help
Been awhile since I posted...but I got a quick question. My buddy wants to swap a 18.5cm off of a '89 cummins onto his 92. He has unbolted the turbo and housing from the manifold.....but needs to know how to separate the housing and the compressor. I could prob figure it out (ha...given a few hours) but he is not terribly adept at tinkering with the truck, and lives about an hour away, so I'm not on hand to check it out. I've never done this myself, so what needs to be removed, and whats the best way to do this? Pics would be great, but I realize its short notice...any help is appreciated. Thanks
