they're both the same thing except the M3 will have a mellower grind towards the bottom so it doesn't smoke as much before the turbo comes in. but the grind at wide-open-throttle will be the same...

i'd say you'll be fine with stock injectors and a dennyT pin. you'll like the low end throttle response

they're both good guys that make them, id hate to choose one over the other since they do the same thing, just in a different way

Stock replacement costs more than a DennyT does...and you get more power out of an aftermarket one than a ground stocker can put out

Bosch shop quoted us $121.68 for that stupid thing a year ago , a stock one

i don't think you should chance it. as soon as you hit the throttle, you'll be in full fuel. the afc pin that rides up and down the ramp of the fuel cone will instantly move all the way back in the bore of the afc housing. when i replaced the o-ring on my afc pin, i was able to push it all the way through until it hit the back of the opening where the fuel cone resides. i just don't know if it could actually fall out of it's keeper or not. if it does, you'll have a heck of a fuel leak and it will be spewing out of the vent tube.

pull the top off of the afc housing and look inside. if it's sticking out, reach in with a very narrow pair of needle-nosed plyers, grab it LIGHTLY and push it back in or towards the front of the engine. where'd the fuel pin break off? near the top of the ramp where it's kinda thin? and how did it break?

look down that hole where the fuel pin goes and if you see a little pin sticking out then lightly push that tiny pin back in, and insert your new dennyt

I run the DennyT fuel pin.

It provides substantially more fuel in a WOT setting as compared to a ground stock/OEM pin.

But as Crossy's son has pointed out, the DennyT pin has a VERY aggressive ramp and as such, smokes very easily under part-throttle conditions with low boost.

I'd like to try something more along the lines of the M&H M3 pin. It's comparable to Denny's in the full fueling but has a much more gradual ramp getting there. As such, I believe it could run much cleaner around town.

These days I want a fuel pin that has a flat gradual ramp just like stock, but is capable of going just as deep as Denny's or AlwaysWorking's.
