Need help with a couple clearance light measurement on club cab

Hey All - I'm in the middle of mounting factory clearance lamps on my rig and need a little help from someone with an extended cab with factory clearance lamps. Jim Lane and my friend avvblanc01 were kind enough to provide me diagrams for their clearance lamps, however they both have regular cabs, which have a slightly different roof profile than my extended cab. When I mocked everything up, the spacing seems a bit too wide on the outside lamps, so I'm hoping to get confirmation from someone with an extended cab.

Would someone, with an extended cab with factory clearance lamps, be kind enough to measure
  1. the center-to-center distance between the two outside clearance lamps? It should be around 48", but might be less.
  2. from the front of the amber lens on one of the outside lamps to the peak of the drip rail. It should be in the range of 4-1/2"
  3. the center-to-center distance between the center lamp and one of the outside middle lights? This should be about 7-1/4".

I've included a diagram below and circled in red the measurements I need.

Thanks. Hoping to drill holes tomorrow.

43 1/2" ish center to center of outside ones. 7 1/8" outer to drip rail. 7 to 7 1/8" center of center light to center of either neighbor. This is on factory installed cab lights. Dang, I need some new lenses! That "sand" that CalTrans puts on I-80 has cracked some of them.

When put my cab light on the crewcab I layed them out on the roof...no cutting or drilling....then tweaked them until it looked "right" from all directions....took me days to finally get the courage to do th ecutting and drilling. The measurements I used were close, but the two outboard lights need the most adjustment.

Thanks again for helping me out bigredbrick. I used your dimensions for the side-to-side measurements.

I also ended up doing much of what you did ThrashingCows. I laid them out, tweaked them, made a template, laid them out with the template, tweaked them. I drilled this afternoon. It was really nervous, but took my time and even made small adjustments after I drilled each hole. So far, I've invested about 1 hour per drilled hole!

I have yet to run the electrical, but hope to do that tomorrow given the long weekend.

I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Do you have the foam gasket material for the lights? I have some if you need it. PM me.

Thanks for the offer Edwin. I actually got some gaskets from LMC, though I can't say I know how well they'll hold up.

Yur welcome. Nice looking truck there. Mine is sporting the rust patina look. I hear it costs lots of money to get that!

I bought a set of the reproduction gaskets right from the supplier....can't recall who they are right now....nice product and did not have any issues with them.

I bought the material from Granger in Tulsa, OK. Unfortunately the smallest quantity I could get was enough for about 20 trucks.
