There's a 30 amp self-resetting circuit breaker (or should be) in the fusebox.

Key has to be in the "run" position for the windows to work.

Neat!

Sounds like a cab grounding issue. Run a wire from the firewall (sand some paint off the spot) to the engine block.

Fuse panel is dead center under the steering wheel.

If you lay on your back and look up you will see the bottom of it sticking into a square keeper. Push up slightly and it will come free so you can pull it out of its hiding spot and have a look see.

I found it, it was the black and red power wire going to it. I hooked a new wire to the back of it long enough to get the window up. Tomorrow I will find where that wire is loosing its contact and fix it. My wife took my son to the ER earlier today and she had all my Fluke test equipment in the Blazer she drove. lol My son is doing ok BTW.

my power windows work with the key on or off and sometimes the drivers door switch needs alit wrap to get its attention. glad to here your son is ok those kind of trips always take the wind out of your sails.

Also I've found that the wiring in between the doors can crack and break causing no power to the window motors. I found that out the hard way on a lunch break during high school LOL

My 85 Ramcharger windows and blower fan were both dead, shot the system, and ended up replacing the ignition switch ($18 at Schucks). The window and fan circuit are dedicated, apparently due to load. Both working now.

I thought I saw a post recently about power windows not working on a 92 and it turned out to be the computer. With the wait to start light flickering i just thought this might be something to think about.
