need help again

ok so now i put a external voltage reg on my truck and now my truck is finally charging....but now my meter is goin crazy and when i put my lights on it looks like i put a set of strobes in the head lights.....what should i do to stop this?

Run a wire from one of the regulator mounting screws to the engine.

ok did that....still same thing....anyone wanna buy a cummins i got a black one with stacks for sale .......grrrr

Get a better regulator. Some of the parts store ones are next to worthless.

Have your alternator bench tested, you might have a bad diode.
Make sure all of your connections are tight.
Look for a better regulator.
