Need Help

Ok so i just got done putting a new lift pump in my truck because i was having issues with it starving for fuel and dieing on me. After putting a new lift pump and fuel filter on it it runs but it seems gutless and like theres not as much power there as there should be.

Just this last summer I turned the pump up alittle bit along with the smoke screw and it smoked alittle bit but now it doesnt seem to smoke as much as it did.

Boost leaks. Restricted intake and/or exhaust.

If it wasnt getting the air it needs wouldnt it blow more black smoke because the air to fuel ratio will be off?
