need help!!
i ajusted the idle on my 93w250 down it was too high. any way back to the prob . now that ive done that when im driving 60-70mph or wenever its in od when i let off the gas all the way it imediantly shifts out of od and i have to get back in the gas to shift it back. any help is apriceated. thanks.
When you adjust your idle down you are also changing the at rest position of the throttle position sensor. Under the sensor you will see a pair of flats that will accomodate an open end wrench. You can GENTLY rotate the sensor input back to where it was. It doesn't take much motion to notice a change in the OD. It is plastic so be careful. You probably only need to move it 1/16 inch or so in the counter-clockwise direction. In the service manual there is a way to do this using a volt meter. I think the values vary from year to year. I have a 93 FSM at home. If you want me to send you the page on adjusting the TPS send me a PM and I will see what I can do. I ain't no computer geek but I can scan, maybe, I think I can?????????
