Need a good front brake pad

I need a good front brake pad. The ones I have now are the quiet ones from O'reilly's. The rotors are turning colors from the amount of pressure it takes to stop the truck. I want a good braking pad....any suggestions or comments?

Thanks, Tony

I would look into some Porterfield R4-S pads. I've been very happy with the rear shoes on my 96 2500, may put front pads on even before they're needed just to get better braking performance when I got the extra cash.
They're about the best deal for the money spent IMHO
I got mine from Livermore Performance in CA, you will have to call them but the price was right!

Up Date

Thanks for all the input. I decided to go with Autozone's Duralast Gold pads. They will stop the truck on a dime. The ones I was using Wagner's "therma quiet". They are quiet for sure, but the braking is not nearly as good as the Duralast Gold.

Thanks, Tony

I've had good luck with Performance Friction pads on my 2wds. I think I have the Wagners on my W350 now- couldnt wait for AZ to order the PF pads.
