Exclamation Need a Getreg trans mount!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking for nearly 2 months with no luck, I need a new trans mount but cant find one. Who sells them? Do I just need to get the welder out and make a solid mount for it? I think the trans moving around is why my motor mounts went bad and I dont want to swap them out till I get the trans in place.

I wouldn't make the mount solid. You will brake something for sure if your engine is mounted on rubber.

I'll pull the old one all the way out and take it with me but the only one the parts stores list here is for an auto trans, no manual option in there computer for trans mount.

I got mine at quad 4x4. They weren't cheap. There are also polyurithane ones for sale online linked somewhere on DTR but I forgot where that link was. I think DNR Customs used them.

Yea I havent been on here much lately. Too busy working and moving. I still have a pile of performance parts and my SB DD clutch to put in once I get time. I hope to get it done before it gets too hot out so I can knock out that 12 second first gen 5 speed run.

well still no luck, even at the dodge dealer. Its like most other parts on this truck, nowhere to be found. I had the guy at Orielley's order every available part number for it and one for the NV4500 and am going up there at 4 to compare and see if one is the same.

I went to home depot and rebuilt my old one. I used 3/4" washers to keep it centered and replaced the broken rubber with good hard polyurathain. Now it should be nice and stiff but still flexable and the washers will keep it centered within 1/8", just enough room to flex and not bind. Shouldnt have any trouble with it anymore.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the pesky motor mounts out. The engine wont lift high enough to just pull them out. I'll get back at it after work tomorrow.

Nope those are different. They have those in stock but not the ones for 2wd. The 2wd is completly different.

Can You post a picture of the rebuild You did, I have asked here as well and searched for some time but the only thing I found is 4x4 mounts and everyone seems to think they use the same for the 4x2's .

Thank You.
