alright my speedo is out and im not spending $350 for a new dodge unit. so i want a cheepo tach that i can judge it with. in know issopro has one that plugs into the factory one, and autometer has the 2888 but i just want something cheap for like $20-40. (i know fast food doesnt pay ) i know some have had luck with cheap ones set to 4 cylinder, i need something like part #'s/ instalation intructions. ( the sticky could also use a guide to installing any one other than the plug and play issopro/ part #'s )

 

Elcheapo and cummins doesnt go together as a rule. But there is an option, www.tinytach.com also very simple to install.

 

well also neither does expensive and $5.50 an hour plus large truck payment per month

 

well i just put in a cheap sunpro tach. and does the illumination wire connect to the orange wire on the plug?

 

The orange wire should be the light circuit... that's what I tapped for the aux. gauges on mine.

 

So what size is our fuel lines? 6mm, 7mm or 1/4"? I'm guessing one of the first ones.
