Napa Reman VS RedHead Steering Gear
#16
Getting into this tread a little late, but I always order Moog parts if available, thru Orileys. Moog parts from Orileys are lifetime warranty, at least on their drag link. I'm on my second one. Didn't really need to change it, but I miffed up the seal on the front end of the link, while trying to remove it. Called Orileys, and the new one was in the store within a couple hours.

Got my Redhead steering box and Moog drag link installed. It does drive better - still not what I think it can be, but definitely an improvement.

Still lacking in the caster effect. Like I said, the box is great - definitely would buy again. It drives well, it's just not up to my spec - but for me, I won't quit tinkering until it's 100% perfect (brake system redesign, anyone?)
I think I will start playing around with longer shackles on the rear of the front springs to try and change the caster a bit to see if I can make any difference.
