Black paint is such a pain to get right.... and from your pix it looks really sweet.

Sorry about your dad not being able to finish the deal with you, but at least you have the truck and the memories of times you had with him. Good to cherish the times we have with those whom we care about most....

Can't wait to see it finished...

Thanks guys. And Dad is with me all the time. I seriously can feel it sometimes when I get frustraited, I calm esier than I used to. I carry his ashes in a small vial in my pocket every day. Some say to let go, Well I let go when my family and I took the harleys and spread his ashes up in yellowstone, but I guess Its nice to know he is still around when I really need him.

Thanks on the nice words, As for the 440, I honestly dont know what its making, but I know it blows the 33s up in smoke in a hurry.

I have a few little things to tweak out, but its harest time and Im helping the Dad-in-law get our field and the custom harvesting we do get out of the way then Ill hammer the RamchargerR/T out and get to driving it.

The picture with the dollar bill is pretty cool. I have seen many new cars that you can't read the reflection.

Thanks Jstone,

I wish now I would have base cleared this truck, but I am getting pretty good at buffing and rubbing out scratches. It looks awesome in the summer sun.

Whereabouts are you in Nebraska?

Hail damage seems to be normal out here.

The truck looks good.

Man, that's amazing. What kind of fuel mileage do you see with it?

We have a couple of 440s, one of which I want to rebuild soon and put a 4-speed behind in one of our pickups. Closed-chambered heads, flat-top pistons, and a big cam. Now I have the larger intake and carb for it, as well.

Nice job. Quite a tribute piece to a man you obviously hold in high regard.

As far as "Some say to let go"... do what you feel you have to do!

LOL, Yea, so far my lowly 90 RC with 318 EFI and overdrive is getting around 10 MPG driving conservatively, so that 440 6 pack might even be an improvement.....

You never know...running on a 2bbl can help a little bit but if you have a 440-6pak how often do you do that?
