My muti color finaly leaked into the cab.

Yep just like the title says. I now have a nice red seat in my 90. The old seat was givin my back fits on long drives and you guys know I've taken a few of those lately. I now sit 2-3 inches higher in the cab and that will take a little gettin used to. Probably gonna get a saddle blanket cover for it cause I'm lost with out the nifty front pocket the early seats had.

Scored this seat along with a few other goodies for the 93 at our local u pull it yard. I hate the red but the seat was to good to leave there.

Cover it with the duct tape that's already sitting on the seat. Then it'll be the same color as the interior and also be more resilient!

My son had an old ferd diesel pickumup like that. I figure it must have been at least a dozen trucks at one time.

Andrew, we have the same phone. Casio G'zOne. I get made fun of all the time for having a flip phone, everyone else I know has those fancy "smart" phones.

Speaking of saddle blanket seat covers, anyone ever use this company?

http://www.seatcoversunlimited.com/S...t-p-16159.html

I've been wanting a saddle blanket cover for a while and this seems like one of the only companies that makes a nice seat cover for our trucks. I'd like some more information before I drop close to $150 on a seat cover.

Thanks.

Looks like you pulled the seat out of our 91! Yours actually has much less wear on the driver side than ours. I might need you to ship that seat to me in Washington and have you go back to your old one

I got a few of them. I swapped mine out for a more comfy one i found on craigslist. mine is like perfect now, my old one was poorly "re-stuffed" and hurt my lower back on a long haul.

Swap

im not saying they're great quality, but walmart and places like autozone have cheap $30 dollar saddle blanket seat covers that with the right ingenuity will look just fine on a seat like that. and im pretty certain they got the pockets in the front as well lol

Duct tape cup holders are the best, lots of handy uses.

Parker, I won't make fun of you cause of you phone. I love this phone its tough as nails water proof and it also has a themometer and compass plus a bunch of other crap I don't use. I'm not one of those guys that needs the latest and greatest gadget.

I like to know if anyone has used their covers also. How do they fit and what not. I see there made in the US too, Thats a selling point for me.

Sootnsmoke, Find me a grey one in the same condition and we'll swap.

I've seen the cheap wal mart china seat covers on a 1stgen seat and they fit like crap and bunch up everywhere.

thats why i said with the right ingenuity lol ive seen people get the dirt cheapos make them fit skin tight on a seat. you just gotta think it out right and get it tied down real tight in multiple places other than the tie downs that come on it lol

but if you got the money...why not just get the real deal right? lol

I've used the cheap Seat covers in the past and to make them nice and tight I use zip ties, slide the zip tie in between the weaving . works great

Or in my case, if your other half is offering to pay, why not just get the real deal.

I just wanted a few opinions before I spend her money.
