Is mounting a mechanical fuel and oil pressure guage in the cab safe?

I have both in my truck, however i only plumb in the fuel pressure guage off and on, maybe Ill do it again in 4 months or so just to get a baseline. My oil is ran through metal, and yes I have seen it around 75-80 psi when cold, no probs yet though.

I also run a mechanical fuel pressure gauge in the cab. I used braided stainless steel line and a needle valve shut off at the fuel filter, I've got a few pics in my photo gallery. It's been 3 yrs without a leak or gauge issues.
