Make your own intake horn non ic guys

Guys i made a 3 inch intake horn for my truck recently and i took it out for a little playing.
I gained 5 lbs of boost and the truck is a rocket ship. i just bought an stock 03 as well and i know my first gen will beat it.

So if you havent done this yet do it!!!!!!

yeah i cant upload them right now. i dont know why. but i will tell you waht i did.
i have a gds 60 mm with the 3 inch v band, i took a 45 degree bend and welded it to a 9 inch piece of straight pipe. i got 2 intake connectors one 2.5 inch to 3 inch reducer for turbo to 45 then i got a 90 degree 3 inch from silicone intakes bolted it to my plate that i made which is a 4" x 3"3/4 plate cut a hole and welded in a 3 inch piece of pipe to connect it all. Its pretty much the same set up that is in the sticky under 3 inch crossover pipe

I just wanted to share my joy

I just made one for mine also I did not notice more boost but big difference in mid range power I turned fuel screw down a 1/4 turn did not seem to loose any power. 1985cucv is right feels like a rocket ship also did heater grid delete adds even more LOVE IT. if you do this would highly recommend port matching tube to intake
