Loping on acceleration...
Loping on acceleration...
My pump is basically un-altered, I have turned in my smoke screw a little about two years ago but that is it. That said my truck has been acting funny under moderate to heavy acceleration recently. The turbo spools up as it should and as I hit moderate boost the truck seems to drop a little power intermittently as the RPMs increase.
The fuel filter has been changed and the symptoms still persist. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it the fuel pump or is it IP related?

Do you smell fuel under the hood when the truck is warm? If so, look for an air leak in the supply lines.
Also replace the spade terminal on the fuel shutoff solenoid with a ring terminal.

I do have a little leak, looks to be at the actual throttle shaft. I was told there is a couple little o-rings that need to be replaced. Does this mean when the pump is under acceleration I am loosing fuel pressure due to this leak?
What is all involved to replace the spade with a ring type terminal?

The throttle shaft leak won't cause that sort of trouble, a miss would be caused by a leak in the supply side.
The solenoid has a stud, just unscrew the nut and take off the spade terminal, then cut the ends off the wires and crimp ring terminals on them.
