Loosing power steering fluid

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me. I noticed on my diesel 1992 RC that I am losing some power steering fluid. But everything externally is clean and dry.
My question is has anyone ever seen these things leak internally? I mean into the engine and subsiquintly the oil???? Again the motor is a 1990 Non I/C.

Thank you

Does the non intercooled have the vacuum pump between the ps pump and timing cover? If so I would find it hard for the fluid to cross all way through and into the motor.

I've noticed mine is doing the exact same thing. Loss of fluid and no visual external leaks whatsoever. I don't know where the fluid could be disappearing to but I'm thinking the possibility of the seal between the reservoir and the vacuum pump assembly.

Is the oil level in your motor getting higher?

Have you drained and refilled the fluid recently. If so it takes forever to get the power steering full. When I bought my truck last fall everything had been serviced for the po at a Dodge dealership.
In checking things over found the power steering fluid low, filled it up and a couple days later it was low again.
Same as you I could not see any external leaks and was concerned it was leaking into the crank case thriugh the vac pump.
This went on for about 3 weeks and a quart of power steering fluid, I was ready to morder a seal kit and it quit, has been good for months now.
Found out afterwards that this is a problem with refilling after the pump has been drained and the solution is to put the front end on blocks, fill the pump few turns lock to lock fill etc till it stays full.

After thinking about it some more I don't see how it can go through the vacuum pump. It connects with an open love joy style joint. Should be able to see the front pump seal leaking. A while back mine started leaking and needing fluid about once a month but showed no signs of leaking. It eventually started showing on that front seal. Only thing I could think of is that with a slow leak on that spinning shaft it just throws it off in a mist and makes it hard to detect.
