Thumbs up Looking at a 89 NON IC Truck....

I have read and read so please in as few of words as possible....... 1989 W350, 4X4, Manual, Non-IC....... What are the common issues aside from rust that I need to look for? How hard is it to install a IC + Plumbing......? What were the HP and TQ numbers on these engines and what are they capable of?

Thanks, Boost

Cracked steering box mount/frame.

There's an intercooler install in the sticky, take a look at that and see if it fits your fab skills/tools.

Stock was 160/400. You can get over 300/700 to the ground with pump tweaks and more/cooler air.

That'll be a fun truck . I know you already mentioned rust, but above the windshield in the gutter is a BIG probem, it rusts from the inside out

And you should also pop the hood and look at the tag on the front underside of the hood on the right hand side, See what gears it has.

Crossy's son- you mean some of those tage are still legible?

Most of my pickups didnt even have them when I bought them. The two trucks that still had the tags, the ink was so worn they were all but readable.
