Let’s see some pictures of tow mirrors on first gens!

I know there are some threads here and there of some things people have done for towing mirrors on these trucks, but I feel that one thread with pictures of tow mirrors would be helpful. So if you have tow mirrors on your truck whether they be west coast style, 2nd/3rd/4th gen style, custom, etc. post some pictures and, if you have a thread on them, give the link to your thread. Also, tell us how you like the mirrors, what you like, what you don’t like, and what you would change if you could. Maybe include if/how you retained the power mirror function if it was possible. Do they fold in for when the path gets tight and rough? Hopefully this thread will bring some cool ideas that will help people out. As we all know the stock power mirrors that most of us have leave something to be desired.

73' I don't know whats more impressive. The built crew or your two adorables:) Is that a D60 or D44 front? If its a 60 how do you lock in the hubs?

That is a great shot, the kids look so happy!

'73 is running a 2nd gen Dana 60 / front frame section welded to the crew cab frame, IIRC.
So there are no locking hubs to have to get to.

As Oliver said, I’m running a 94-01 front suspension and axle. So there’s no need to lock the hubs. I have an 05+ Ford Dana 60 front axle that I’m seriously thinking of throwing in there. As soon as I find someone that can help me preheat while I weld some 4 link mounts to it. I’ve been saying this for over a year though. And thank you. Raising twins has defintately taught me how to pull 12-15 hour days on 3-4 hours of sleep [coffee]
