Hard to say since i haven't driven the truck since july with the old springs. New ones are definatley better and smoother, more range of motion is the big enhancement. Small bumps are hardly even felt, big ones are still there but the suspension moves like it is supposed to.
With the old springs i added the slide pads in between leaves and that gained them 1.5 points i would say. So comparing to that i would say 8-8.5 for sure. These trucks are still bricks so they will never be a cadillac.

I am not happy with the skyjacker's fronts, had the 2" lift springs in the front. These were fine for maybe a year, they have now started to reverse arch. They are about as flat a new stockers. I have Bilstein shocks with timbren extra large bump stops. Looking for new options.

Funny you said that about the skyjackers..
I'm starting to believe that when you buy.... over the net.... from a NON SPECIALTY CO, that doesn't hand make them, you're getting the same stuff that other companies also sell, just re-branded.
I bought 3 pressure hoses for my steering gear retrofit. The two from napa, and one from autozone. The boxes and parts inside were identical, except for the writing on the box itself. I'm bet these springs we all had the NON-pleasure of owning are manufactured in one place, and then sold re-packaged. We all experienced the same failures, which seems would be not possible unless the initial or main supplier are the same.

Yeah, I really like those parabolic springs. The question I have though, would the thickness of the parabolic springs cause them to break easy during offroad? I would think the thicker metal could withstand anything really and rebound nice. Few guys here wheel with their 6bts, I've seen a few cases where the leaf springs just snap. Brand new rocky mountains in the trash.
I don't do the hardcore wheeling, my truck is more for hauling and getting me around. Yet at times some of the roads I take are pretty crappy and it would be a nice addition if I needed to.

Okay, about ready to rock on these springs. Here is what we have for a stock replacement. Are these numbers correct? I don't know about the bushing sizes.
Just need to know what size bushing you want in the front
3/4 or 5/8
SPRINGS WILL MEASURE 24 - 24

Well if not going greasable then might aswell go as big as you can (3/4). If you go with jungle be sure to tell the spring company then they wont install the bushings. Those factory style bushings are not fun to get out.

my 2.5 skyjackers are great, ive got about 3, 3.5 inches off the bumpstop, about 4 years old, truck sits level side to side, rides really nice, handles a load decent(the roads here are horrendous). if i did it over, id go with alcan or those parabolic jobbers though.

Just ordered the springs, I will take pictures when they arrive. I was going to get Jungle bushings but I don't have the money right now to do that.

I pulled the SDSPRING junk out of my truck. I brought them to my local spring shop to use as a guideline to make me new ones.
They're installing a thicker main, along with a new sleeper leaf below the main, which underlies the full length of the main leaf. According to the local spring shop, this will permanently eliminate the sagging / flattening issue that I was having with my springs.
I have no idea what they're charging me, All I know is that I now have a place to go to should this not work as expected.
I'd love to install the Jungle front leaf perch, as the spring bolt holes in my existing mount are mildly egg shaped and out of round. The spring shop said that most spring shops fix this by welding a hardened washer onto the spring perch sides, and install a longer bolt. For now, they'll work, but I'll need to repair the drivers side spring perch at some time for this issue.
