Knock when shutting off, and driving a certain way...

This truck has had a knock when shutting off for a while now (not just the "wet-dog shutdown"), and I recently noticed that it makes a growl/vibration when turning right, that is, when the weight is transfered to the left side. The knock is also only there when the truck is shut off with the passenger side uphill (again, with the weight on the left side). Last, but not least, with the truck on a sidehill, drivers side downhill, in drive, it also knocks and vibrates. The vibration is related to engine speed. Any ideas?

I might as well make this post about performance too I recently put the 18cm housing back on and got a decrease of 6psi boost, but no EGT drop. Was the extra 6psi really helping that much? Enough to overcome the restriction of the 12cm housing?

TIA

Also check to see if the exhaust is hitting anything.

Good call. I also had a strange noise that took me forever to find. Turned out to be the sheet metal cover over the slave cylinder. It was cracked. Bruce
( mannwelder ) welded some washers over where the stress cracks were. He even gave it back to me sandblasted and painted. No more noise.

Frame might be cracked under the steering gear if it's doing it when you turn.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I still haven't gotten around to checking it (busy time with harvest and all). However, I recently put a new steering gear reinforcement plate on, and the frame there is fine, so that is one possibility ruled out.
