and WOW. For any of you guys out there running stock autos with some bombs, check out a new converter and VB. I can't beleive the difference this made. Dang it pulls hard now!! I can actually accelerate in overdrive, I can actually feel shifts, I can actually tell RPM drop between shifts, and the tranny actually shifts when it should.

On the downside, I can now make tons of boost. Time for a 14cm WG housing for now, can't afford bigger turbos/headstuds/o ringing for awhile now.

So, for other guys running autos, get a GOOD converter and VB and you won't be able to wipe that grin off your face .

I put one of his triple discs in my 47RH, what a huge difference it made compared to another aftermarket converter I had.

Did you put in a billet front lever? Dave recommended I did on mine so I did.

sounds awesome! Do you still have your old 18.5cm? That might buy you a couple less psi...

Nope, no billet front lever. Dave never said a thing about it, so maybe I didn't need it. I didn't know there were billet front levers for the non locking converters.

I still have my old 18.5, but it's used as a wheel stop now. I can get to 45 PSI if I put my foot into it for a second or two, not even floored. I'd bet I could get 50 real easy if I tried. I needa wastegate !

Maybe you don't, the front lever is for applying the band on the front drum when it shifts from 1 to 2.
