Just bought a cummins F350 what do I check first?

I've been toying with a Cummins into Chevy swap for a while. I just fell into an 88 F350 crew cab with an 89 model cummins and a getrag. This is my first diesel. The motor was rebuilt about 80k ago. The trans has about 150k on it. The truck has been parked for about two years. It was started and driven around the block every few months, but hasn't seen any miles in that time. What should I check out on it before I start putting miles on it?

On my list are:
Oil and filter
air filter
fuel filter
belt
add gauges

Any suggestions?

Arrow Over-fill The Getrag

Drain and over-fill the Getrag with FIVE quarts of synthetic 5W-30 oil.

Stock fill level is 3.5 quarts.

Store brand full-synthetic will be fine for the transmission, as it has no combustion issues to deal with.

Change the oil and filter---15W-40 diesel oil.

Change the fuel filter.

On this Saturday morning, June 9th, Drive it to Flemingsburg, Kentucky, to the 1st Generation Cummins gathering, for first hand information and advice, and free food.

I would think that after a couple of years, you could bleed the brakes 2 or 3 times and make sure when you get her going, you can stop!
change oil
change fuel filters
air filter Mice love them
Mine sat 1 year under a pine tree grove, I just drove it!
Good luck!

Also after sitting that long it is a good idea t keep a eye on the wheel seals and bearings.
