johny, do you have a side veiw of the back seat to show leg room. I bought a set of 3rd gen power, heated, leathers for mine. How did you mount the rears. I've got some ideas, but have picked one yet. I'll hopefully have mine mounted up by the end of the month.

Thanks. I've got to get some more pics of mine up. The door jams and inner fenders are painted. I'll hopefully have the frame done by this weekend so I can get the cab back on. Then get everying back together and ready for paint.

Thanks johny. Looks like yours were easier to mount then mine will be. The 3rd gen rear seats I'm useing mount at the very back of the seat, so I have to mount them on the hump at the back of the cab.

I looked at some 3dr gen seats and the rear seats were really short that's why I went for the ford seats.

That's kind of why I chose to go with them. That I I like the fact that when folded up the brackets are up and out of the way. That and I got the 3rd gen leather, power, heated for $225. I had originaly planned on going with two set of 98.5-02 seats with the built in seat belts but figured there wouldn't be much leg room in back.

My '85 crew looks exactly like the truck you started w/. A White sweet rust free western rig from AZ/OR. I am planning a '98 CTD/nv-4500 swap for it this winter Love the build up, great pictures....but the finished product is AWESOME.
