Jim Lane's Wheels

I have a '91 Intercooled 2wd dually, and really like the look of the wheels on Jim Lane's truck. Does anyone know what kind they are, or where to get a set? Also, how much would a set of those wheels cost?

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure, but I believe someone said they were Ford Alcoa (spelling?) wheels? I know they look very good on a certain gray 2wd Dually though. I'm hoping to find a set myself, so maybe Jim will chime in, and tell us himself.

I got my 17x8s though Discount Tire along with a new set of tires. Tons of wheel and tire place all over the country can get them. Southwest Wheel had the best price last time I checked. It's nice to know that for bargaining leverage with big places like Discount tire.

I am not really sure who the manufactures of the rims are but I am pretty sure they are not Alcoa’s though I really wish they were.

I bought the entire set of them second hand from a guy up off from Mulholland Drive in Hollywood, Ca.

He took them off his Chevy and had them sitting in his garage, it has been a long time but I don't think I paid much over $100.00 for them.

I took them home and polished them up and then had my tires mounted onto them, the 32 lug nuts and caps cost more than the rims themselves did.

I would still like to pick up a set of Alcoa’s if I could find them.

The last time I was at the tire shop I had asked him and he said he thinks they might be made by Eagle.

Thanks for asking about them.

Pretty sure if they are not Alcoas they are Eagle 058's or 589's. I was going to go with the Eagles but found the 8 hole classic Alcoas for a deal. From what I remember the 589's are the older # for the now 058's. Just type in eagle 058 in ebay and they should pop up. They come in both a DRW and SRW type.
I checked there are a few sets on there now.
