Do a search for powerstroke intercooler.

Plenty of info here about it.

Pulltilbroke said it all. You should be able to find a good used PS IC for around $150, give or take a few. Oh, and you'll want the 7.3l version, which has aluminium tanks, not the 6.0l with plastic ones. '03 and before, IIRC.

Some 7.3 versions had plastic tanks as well. If you get one from a yard tell them you need the cooler from a truck that had a cat converter. A buddy of mine just went through this last week.

I'll see if I can did up the Hollander number tomorow

What is the advantage of the ic being from a vehicle with cat converter. I found a salvage yard near me that has at least 15 - 20 ic's listed for sale. A couple are from an F-550. Is this the same ic also? The price per cooler is $150.00

They are bigger, with 3" inlet/outlet openings. It's not exactly a direct swap, but check the sticky for the how-to. There's not too much to it.

IIRC, this is a common misconception. A 6.0 intercooler actually has a 3.25" neck diameter.

I think the 7.3 cooler has has 3.25" ends too but I got 3" boots to fit over them just fine. A little tight but I think its good and may help them not blow off. I got mine from a big truck salvage place for $125 with two boots and clamps. I know they asked me about the cat converter or not but im not sure if there was a difference or not. It fits pretty good considerin, just make sure you have a sawzall.

I apologize, I didn't realize you were talking about the 7.3 intercooler...which also has 3.25" necks.

No worries, and I'll try and get my 'facts' right next time!
