Injectors?

I want to know if it is a good idea to put injectors in my D250. If so what is a gd set of injectors that will not make my truck very unefficient. I already have 4inch turbo back pipe, AFE proguard 7, 16cm housing, pump turned up, 120k. what else would i need to do to keep my truck efficient and make injectors a safe upgrade.
Thanks

depending upon your usage, injectors will make a big change. i went from stock to 185's without changing my already turned up pump settings and noticed a big change in upper rpm power. i went with smaller injectors because i tow up to 10k regular. if you don't tow, you could go much bigger.

as for fuel mileage. once the newness wear's down a little and you start driving normal again it will go back to were it was or better. my truck in my sig gets a long term average of 19 or so and produced 21.21 mpg on the latest tank.

if your looking for bang for the buck, change the governor spring. won't affect mileage at all and make the truck much more pleasant to drive.

and get some guages (at least a pyro) if you dont already have them.

ALso, fill in your signature with the year of your truck. If you have a nonIC truck, you have MUCH hotter injectors than the intercooled guys have (darned Egotistical Pinhead Administration), and 190s or PODs wouldnt give you much extra. If you have the air (intercooling), I'd say you can top 300HP with stock nonIC injectors.

I think 190's would lose power on a non ic considering I didn't feel one little differance with the pods

If you want to buy a production injectors without have to go with EDM's then go for the ddp stage 4's I don't think they would even make that much of a differance on the truck either but should be a bit more then pods and cleaner too

Underpsi,

I have only the BD injectors on my non-ic truck and I saw a big difference in power. I did a lot of other mods at the same time but the amount of fuel ouput definetly increased. BD does show a 40hp increase over the non-ic factory injectors. Piers shows these all as being very close in power (pods,BD's,and DDP 3's). I wonder why your truck didnt show much difference. I guess all our beasts are different.

i would have to disagree about pods not giving n/i trucks much more power. I noticed a large difference when I dropped them in my truck.

Could one use Non-IC injectors in a IC truck and see improvements in HP? Would you just change the tips on them?

More fuel is more fuel point blank. The Pod's will give you more fuel over the stock sticks. More fuel more heat you do the rest.

I don't know if you were directing it just to me or not but obviously I know that and obviously POD's did not give my truck any more fuel. But like everybody always says every pump is different. I know im not the only one with a non ic truck who wishes they didn't waste the money on pods
