Injector question

I read in Diesel Power that the 89-91/12 non intercooled trucks had considerably larger injectors than the later, intercooled trucks. Would a set of these injectors be worthwhile for a person looking for mild performance gains? Or would I be better off just saving my money up for a set of aftermarket ones?
My truck is bone stock now with 187,000 on the clock, but I'm shortly going to try to get to 350 HP with it. The only thing is it has to be reliable because i regularly tow heavy loads with it.

The non i/c injectors will not fit in your truck. Non i/c sticks are 9mm and yours are 7mm.

Well crap!
So then the question should be,what would be the best injectors for me to save up my money for given the stated power goals and keeping in mind the need to be able to tow fairly heavy loads?(10,000+)
Or what would be the best combo for this power level, and need? The truck needs to be absolutely reliable, (if possible), and able to keep up with all the powerstrokes and duramax's around here. lol Thanks for any info.

well in that case i would go with the bosch 190's and a 16cm exhaust housing. you will have good power and quick spool.

Has anyone in here used the coaltrain diesel performance 5x.012 injectors? If so would they be a good injector for my otherwise stock truck, keeping in mind that soon I will be upgrading air/exhaust?

New Era 370's (also a 5X.012 pattern) run about $425 new, and are capable of over 400rwhp. I have no experience with Coaltrain, but I have heard quite a few good things about them.

Be sure and get gauges before any fueling mods.
