Injector pump question

Does anyone have a quick tip for getting the bottom mounting nut off of the injector pump on a 91? It's real tight in there. can't use a socket either.

I use an "S" wrench from Harbor Freight. Snap-On also makes a wrench that works.

If you're like me and don't want to buy a tool just take a regular wrench (if you have doubles) and cut off the open end. You could also just take a buddies and cut it instead LOL. I had to take a piece of wood and put it up against the wrench and give it a light tap to break the bolt loose than I did it by hand. On the top side bolt that's in behind, I used a 1/4" socket with a universal and a long extension and racheted from up above the pump and it turned no problem.

I just posted a picker of a home made "s" wrench that has served me and a couple other members well. It doesn't look pretty, but I haven't broken it yet. Must wait for admin. approval..................Dave

Thumbs up

I figured I would be using it more than once so I bought the Snap-on wrench.
It works just fine.
