I think that I might have a bad injector or something. The truck will idle wierd for a little bit then after driving it, it will idle ok. I get a ton of white smoke from the tailpipe at idle and when I'm driving sometimes it will make a sound like its cutting out or losing a cylinder. The changes sound and it is just for a second put it keeps doing it. It will do it sometimes and sometimes it won't. I put a new injector pump and low pressure piston pump on about a month ago so I don't know if there is something wrong with those things or what. Let me know what you think.

 

Make sure the connections to the run solenoid on injection pump is good and you have 12 volts there. Check fuel line to lift pump make sure they are tight and hoses are not cracking. Check return lines also, sounds like your getting air into fuel lines.

 

Agreed! Sounds like a nice intermitent air leak.
