injection pump removal ?

Is a gear puller required to remove the gear on the end of the injection pump?
I have the timing cover off and all that, ( spare motor ) is there anything else in there to check for besides the KDP ?

Use the bolts from the intake elbow (the ones that also retain the grid heaters) with the steering wheel puller. Locktite all the bolts you find under the cover while you have it opened up. IIRC ther are 5 bolts under the cover, some accessible through slots in the gear.
