Info on and Pics of 4" lift with 33-35in tires
I spent a few hours last night and about an hour today trying to find these.
Looking for a few pictures of trucks that are lifted 4"
Trying to consider if the wheel is positioned correctly in wheel well.
How do i measure my pinion angle?
Heard that shimming the front axle 2.5 - 3* ? some it helped some it hurt.

Thanks raggmann, close to what mine looks like. Trying to decide if i wanna use blocks in rear, right now its about 2/3 bubble forward, using a level on the pinch weld. So the drip rail will actually drain like its supposed to.
The kit i believe is a rough country, and it moved both axles forward a few inches(the rear more than the front)
I have the axles level on the ground on jack stands and plywood. The front is just starting to sag a 1/8" to one side and the rear looks to be almost completely level. I'm waiting on getting custom U bolts for the rear, now that i have them with me
A few more pictures would be appreciated.

I was just worried about my pinion angle, i can probably move the Rear spring, front perch down about 2 inches and use a backing plate to help strengthen where it attaches to. I already have a rear shackle flip that can also go down another 2-3" on frame +/- if i make some shackles. Even with the weight of the cummins up front its lots taller up there. It seems to look better with the pinch weld level rather than 2/3 of a bubble out.
Are you wondering about pinion angle on the front or the back? Pinion angle on the back isnt a big deal, they make pinion shims that go between your spring and axle to advjust the angle. The front pinion angle is a complete different story. As you raise the pinion you change the pivot point for your front tires. The higher the angle the harder it is on front end parts. Thing of it as if you point the pinion straight up how the tires would turn when turning the steering wheel.
If your springs are in that bad of shape why dont you either have them rearched or get 4'' arched springs. My truck clears 33's stock.

Also i just heard too many horror stories about putting a big lift on your truck that i wanted to make sure i had everything right before i get the thing on the road.
Here is a horrible night shot of how it sits with rear blocks.

With the rear blocks out it looks like its pulling a 1G hole shot!!

I'm running 4" Rancho gasser leaves up front and a set of springs I built in the rear with blocks. My rear axle sits about an inch further back than stock. I ran pinion shim up front for a while but took them out cause they made the truck wander to much.

I'm not using shims upfront, yet.
I was wondering if the rear springs were made backwords, because there is only 1 way a spring should be installed... i had to ratchet strap the axle forward about 2" in the rear to re-align the centering pin/hole. I'm gonna get the rear u-bolts made for use with blocks and then i can always remove them later if i find problems with axle wrap. There looks like there won't be ANY rubbing and the truck actually has suspension now! its an amazing difference over those rusty, worn out springs.

Thanks, that looks almost identical to mine, i was just uncertain about the wheel placement in wheel well. I only want to get my rear drive shaft cut/balanced once. What shocks are you all running? I was looking at rancho rs5000 at 50 bux a pop, i'm unsure though. Also what are your thoughts on dual shocks?
The front shocks are rough country nittros and the back are procomp nittros. Don't no about dual shocks never ran them. You shouldn't need to cut your drive shaft for just a 4" lift. I've never heard of anyone having to.
