It sound cool if that is where your visions go. Myself, I go for simplicity and the hope that, even in my ignorance, with a simple tool kit, I can get myself home if I have complications on the road.

IMO the 24 valve ISBs are the best sounding diesels. My truck doesn't hold a candle to a 2nd gen 24 valve when it comes to sound. Do a muffler delete, and they are LOUD!

One of my friends here in phoenix has a ramcharger 2wd with a common rail cummins in it. His buddy at the dealership reflashed the computer for more power and the donor truck had an edge juice w/attitude on it already. He ended up flashing the computer back to stock and just running the edge by it self because he could not keep the tires on the ground. He turned a mid 13 with it and that was with some really wicked wheel hop for the first 3rd of the track. Once he gets his 4 link in the back and a bigger turbo (he351 for now with some nasty egts), that truck is going to be FAST. Not sure on the weight, but it is a lot lighter than these 3/4 ton trucks. With its power to weight ratio I think he will be well into the 12's with it when he gets it to hook.

I agree this ramcharger is sweet, it was well done and I have to say that it looks strange to see a CR in a ramcharger. Defiantly passable

I would love to have the 4cyl version of the 6.7l cummins. Take 2-300lbs off the front end, quiet, and incredible fuel economy with plenty of power.

this is one of the main reasons. It's the wife's pickup. When I first bought my mega I couldn't stand how quiet it was, but after a while it was nice to be able to have a conversation with the other people in the pickup without having to yell.

The other reason I'd like to look into this more is the ability to change the power level from mild to wild vs. having say 400 RWHP all the time.
