IC vs NON IC INJECTION PUMP

My brother has a friend with a 92 that the injection pump is messed up, and is wondering if one off a non intercooled truck would work. I think the one he can get is off an 89. Does anything need to be changed for it to work properly on his 92? Would it need recalibrating, if so can a pump shop do it?

Thanks, Paul

I know the KSB is different looking and operates alittle differently.

I also thought the delivery valve holders where the high pressure lines attach where slightly longer on the older non I/C models. I could be wrong on that one though.
