Something is not right there.....you won't find a 2WD RC CTD under 5000 lbs.....I have a 3500 which is the same configuration as your truck other than the fact that it is a dually and it weighs 7700 lbs empty...my 94 RC even weighs 6680 lbs....

When I registered the truck in Calif, I had to get a certified weight. Took everything out of the truck and had about 1/4 tank of fuel. The weight was right at 5800# without me in it.
A few years ago I had it at the Sacramento drag strip and they had a scale there. I had a tool box in the back and some clothes and a travel bag in the front and the truck weighted #6250 with no driver in it.
Truck is a 93 D250 CC.
