Your transmission from your description is at a 90% probability of being a Borg Warner T19 Ford pattern. Remove the engine cover by the drivers seat and compare it with the information in the thread that I authored over on 4BTswaps.com :
http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=841

A Chevy chassis does NOT mean that after under going a Cummins 4BT diesel retrofit it will receive a Chevy transmission. I have personally removed not less than 2 Ford transmission setups from retrofitted GM Chevy stepvans. The Borg Warners transmission pictured in that linked thread is one of them. Retrofits break the all by one manufacturers rule in a factory chassis. The retrofit providers gave the truck fleet owners the option.

Thank-you both for the education.... and to onemopar for starting the discussion

Can't drive it home? They're really not worth much, I'll trailer it to my house so you don't have to mess with it.

I have a trailer but I am unsure how heavy it really is. I am thinking that it can't be that heavy it is all aluminum. Thanks for the offer Bill I think I will figure something out hahaha.

They are HEAVY-looking, and they CAN get REAL heavy when loaded up with bundles of pipe and a pipe bender and other material for a job... i think if you had bought two. Then crushed one you could stick it in the back and drive them both home. ;-) just an idea

My titles that I have are listing them at 6900 pounds empty, Source: DMV of PA. These are the tall big Fritos trucks that have DRW.

I'd guestimate a tad bit under 6,000 pounds for that little one.

Here is the 6900 pounder. Notice the difference in height above the door and the overall length. It's roughly 20 feet from the rear of the front door to the rear end of the van.

the one I am getting is maybe only 14 feet from the rear of the door to the back.
