Hx35 with a 12 WG housing
Hey guy's came across a h1c with a 12 wg housing on it so I am going to pull the 12 housing off and put it on my HX35 . What should I watch for when towing ? I am going to be pulling 3500 up to Reno Via 395 and then 6500lb's Back home Via Hwy 99 and hwy 58 back to home ?I am installing a EGT gauge tomorrow and I'm going to try and get some good reading from my current set/up HX35/16 housing

I don't think you'll have a problem. I have a hx35/12 on my crew with a Denny t, 3k gsk, bhaf and 4" exhaust and never see over 1250 pre turbo and that's pulling about 12000lbs. With 6000-7000lbs it doesn't break 1100 f.
Keep your pre turbo egts under 1300 constant and 1500 peak intermittent and you'll be fine

Thank You Sir Yeah I am hoping for just a little more get up and go from the bottom end with this now do I block WG open or Closed ?or try to hook it up and will that work on a crewcab ? My set/up right now is Fuel pin, 366 spring , hx35 /16 housing and fuel screw mod's but the good thing is I have 410's with 37's
Sweet Thank's guy's it's going on this week And I leave Fri on trip . so we will see I have a boost gauge but it's not hooked up yet if thing's go good tomorrow maybe I can get it all tucked up .

I love the smaller housing/quik spooling turbos. I tow a lot the mountains. the key to egt control/fuel economy is the fuel pin. ihave a ground stock one I rotate to the shallow side for towing with my 5x.0013 injectors. plug the wastegate and tune fuel for 30-32 psi max boost for best power/efficiency with thte hx-35
