I just re/re'd the HVAC unit in my crewcab. Been trying to upload some pics to answer your question but the photo site is draggin it's a$$.
Anyway I'll try and describe it in the meantime. You should have two lines going in/out. One is black, the other is grey-ish or beige. The black line is the main vacuum lead. Believe it tees off the brake booster line. The other line, grey or beige, is the feed to the water shut off valve.
If the color is different you can pop out your glove box and look for the line coming through the firewall plug that has a filter, or check valve, attached to it. This will be your main vacuum feed line.

yup that's exactly what i was looking for, my lines are all black and one came loose some how and i couldn't remember where it went. thank you very much.
if memory serves me correct there were 3-4 holes in that rubber plug in the firewall. what to the others go to or are they just blank?

Try hitting the lines with a bit of paint thinner, brake, carb cleaner...the color could just be buried.
If your lines came out then make sure you look for the line under the dash that has the filter/check valve...that will be your vacuum supply, the other will be the line to the water shut off valve.
There are only the two lines, the others are just blanks for ???.
