Hi I read these forums alot and haven't posted but I have to say that these videos are great, I wanted to do some of these things but didnt really get what I had to do without actually seeing it. Just turned my starwheel 1 turn, the pin about 90* and adjusted the throttle link, dont have to wrenches for the timing till tomorrow when I can go buy some.
Thanks
Cooper

as far as you want. 1.5 turns on the smoke screw is a nice little thing to do when your driving around town because it sets the fuel pin down farther.

it'll smoke a little more before the turbo comes in.. I didn't do it in the video because the truck i was working on is a 92 and it has the 21cm lagmaster exhaust housing, that thing would roll the coal when you floored it because the turbo takes so long to light... black smoke doesn't sell a contracter's truck.

Looking through the manual for the Bank intercooler at the end it explains how to turn the fuel up using the fuel screw but doesn't say anything about taking the collar off of the screw.

Oh shoot i forgot to ask you about that!!

Watcha think?? pretty sweet to see a 91.0 Banks intercooler setup in front of you aint it? lol

Well i would of though banks would of said something about turning the fuel pin or something because a guy with a 93 had a banks kit and he pulled his pump apart and the starwheel was down and pin was turned.

Pretty interesting the way banks set things up but I am pleased, the pipe going to the manifold still leaves plenty of room to access the pump.

Wow Brandon, heck of a response!! Great job!! Now that I have the exhaust on my truck I have to back out the smoke a bit lol. I cant wait to get gauges so I can do things like fuel screw and timing bump and all of that fun stuff... I am resisting the urge to order up a Denny T!! BUT I did get my shift kit and am building the spare valve body this weekend

YOu don't have to have gauges to advance your timing...usually it brings egt's down.

Does your truck have a 21cm exhaust housing or 18cm ?? It is stamped on the back of the exhaust hosuing next to the exhaust outlet, towards the engine. It will say "21". I'd upgrade that before a fuel pin....

You just made my day

Oh ya, lagmaster it is . Thats why I asked you if the 16cm was the way to go or a 14 w/g. I will be ordering that one after I pay for the piston pump which should be here in the next few days!
