I paid $2500 for my 92 CC 2WD with 176K on it in December 2013. It was all stock and basically rust free except for the roof and hood which has already been replaced. I've got at least another $3K in it now with new carpet, headliner, a/c system, trans and engine mods as well as the front end rebuild. I love my truck though so I don't mind spending money on it.

I bought mine in August 2001 from the original owner for 5k. It is easy to remember the date because it was just after I was diagnosed with cancer and just a couple of weeks before 9-11. The fun thing is that I ran into my neighbor that had the truck, at a convenience store and he asked me if I wanted to see his new truck. I asked him what he was going to do with the Dodge, he said sell it I guess. I bought it on the spot. He later told me that his next door neighbor was waiting for him to get home, so that he could buy it...Mark

I paid $10K and a one way ticket from Kentucky to OK about 10 or 12 years ago. Still rust free and runs like a top although I'm behind on some maintenance.

My dad still has his '93 W250 CC Getrag he bought new in 1994. Can't remember what he paid but I can find out. Think it is still under 100K on the odo.

$11,000 in 1996; Today; I've got that plus in the restoration thats happening right now; worth every penny. Long history with this truck; I'll own it until I'm pushing up daisies...then my kids will own it....I maybe have $3k in repairs in those 20 years. New clutch, ball joints, tires, brakes, thats about it.

I bought mine (1992 LE crew cab W250) from my dad in 2001 for 6,000 cuz that's what the dealer offered him for a trade in. Since then I have put a upgraded dodge 5 speed. Then it went out and had a 6 speed cast iron trans installed. Installed a flat bed and bench seat. Replaced both fuel pumps and larger injectors. New leaf springs all around. My grandson is putting 60 pound intake and exhaust springs on in his auto class. Then will install the new 3200 spring and pin, exhaust brake and 4"exhaust from the drop pipe back. And who knows what other great ideas I will get if I keep hanging around this forum.

the truck had to come from the southern parts of the country or never got out in winter, I replaced the rockers " they were not bad really just a couple finger sized holes, and a couple quarter sized holes in the front cab mounts, I have never broken a bolt off in the truck anywhere.

My daughter bought a 2000 Z71 from Chicago, and the truck was junk within 3 years from rust issues, all brakes including everything to do with the ABS, and the trans computer conections wasted the trans, rockers fell off and ever bolt broke that I wanted to take out.

never again will I buy a truck where they use salt.

I paid $6500 for my truck. It has only 140,000 miles on it. I also got a really sweet checker plate tool box that locks, second set of winter tires , with original Dodge rims. It was a very clean two wheel drive, some old guys trailer pulling machine.
