How much?
Hey all... we're always talking about hauling but how much can the bed of the W250 take? My father downed some big spruce trees that are about 3ft in diameter. I took my chainsaw mill and sliced them in half. I'm guessing each log is about 1500lbs... maybe a little more.
Unless uhaul has a trailer I can put them on and bring them up to the mill.

Less then 10 miles, yeah I'll just watch the springs and take it slow. I just rebuilt the 188D in his backhoe so I'll try to use that and load her slow.

Well, the big ole tree was no problem. Truck didn't even sag, I still drove slow and it didn't even hesitate. For some reason it wouldn't let me copy the pictures off the camera which had the log in the truck. So I took a picture of the log on the mill.
I ended up using the chainsaw mill to cut it in half because the hudson wasn't wide enough.
