How do you know if your computer is bad???

Well my altenator stopped charging so i bypassed it and used the external regulator? Now my O/D speedo and odometer stopped working so i chaged out my VSS and still nothing works. I dont have cruise control and my ac is not charge up? Is there any way to check the computer?? Thats the only thing i can come up with for my speedo/O/D problems???

The speedo/odometer are not part of the computer, but it might get its voltage from there so that could be the problem.

Could be the crank sensor, if its bad the computer won't know the engine is running. And why would you need CC or AC if the engine isn't running?

Key in the run position before you start this procedure: Check for 7 volts at the tan/yellow wire. If no power there reach back behind the fuel filter and find the engine harness plugs. The gray one has the tan/yellow wire running through it. Check for 7 volts there. If none there, you'll have to backprobe the PCM connector (tan/yellow again) to see if there's 7 volts. If you have no 7 volt power at the PCM, it is time to replace the PCM.
