Bumper build up...Hoping this will give me an advantage against the next taxi...
Well, Christmas eve I was visited by the run-a-red light fairy because a stupid taxi driver doesnt know red from green. Any way, finally got the insurance check and have started on the new one. I just dont like anything offered on the market because it is either too big and clumsy, too expensive, or it looks like some c-channel with its ends welded up so here came mr. cnc plasma table
. I worked up some drawings in illustrator and had a buddy cut things out of 1/4" plate. Decided to do a hitch and plan on adding some weld on D-rings. I think I will need to beef up the springs for the extra weight of this thing!

first aftermarket bumper i have liked in a long time . looks great like the wire mesh. i built one for my 78 c65 two ton and i made a foot slot across the bottom of the bumper just below your hitch reciever an finished it off. wish i had a photo. made it nice to stand on.

what are you using to connect to the frame? The bumper im building looks a lot like yours, cept with diamond tread. I have the main shell, cut and broke in an iron worker, I 'm thinking of using nice big angle iron to connect to the frame, then that would create the deck space for the winch. The trick is to not make it so strong to transfer impact to the frame, better to have to take the bumper off and heat and beat. Looks very profesional , good job.
I have been kicking around the idea of mounting "receivers" on each side of the truck-frame, and matching tongues on the bumper, so that when I need it off, for whatever reason, it is simply a matter of un-plugging a wire-harness, pulling two BIG pins, and sliding the front/rear bumper off.
If one goes with a set-up like that, be sure to lather on plenty of good old anti-sieze, as it will self-weld in a few months without it.
