Hood Stack

my hood stack is done i will post pics tomarow i have a 4 1/2" tip i have driven by a few cops and no one stoped me yet but does any body have any ideas of how they covered their stack when its not running without doing a flapper

I've been running the flapper for over 2 years now. I agree it's not the best. Can't use vents when stopped at a light. But I haven't had any problems with rain getting in.

yeah i used a coffee can with my mitre stack and i have the flapper on the straight cut, and thats nice. You could put a lock on the flapper.

You can get rain caps (flappers) that have provisions to lock them. Or you can drill a hole through the counter-weight when it's closed and make it lockable.
