The only reason it can do that is cause the front tires are out past the bumper and the traction it has.

That is cool,
A good theft deterrent when you park it against the wall on its tailgate.

I could use this when people park too close to me in a parking.

What is the low range on those, sounds like he is not much over an idle.

That is the 2 most obvious (and neccesary) factors. A keen ear will notice the cummins sounding idle, that surely helps matters

the HMMVEE was design to scale a 33" vertical wall as apart of the original design requirements. If you look at the right, you'll see a slight "kick" up in the body work right before the rear tires, that was put there so that the body didn't high center on the wall during the test.

As far as climbing the wall it's about, gearing, traction and geometry, the hardest part is getting the rig started up the wall, after that ... child's play.

GM (Goverment Motors)power.350 gassers, early ones had 6.2 diesels and then 6.5 turbo diesels later if I'm not mistaken.
I read an article in Petersons 4 wheel & off road quite a few years ago that said the military surplus Hummers were available to the public but you could not register them for on road use. It also said stated that some had actual bullet holes in the floor boards for draining water

Well you could say that about any of the "junk" motor vehicles that many of us want to do conversions into....powerjokes, the 85 gas motor you are swapping a cummins into in place of....if I could put a cummins in one of these suckers, I'd do it it in a heartbeat. There are more videos of this truck on youtube and its a freakin' bear. I want one!

Dad: Son, how'd you flat spot the front tires?

Son: Sliding down the wall again.
