Holset H1E
I read somewhere about making a hybrid turbo from the H1E and our H1C. Is it worth doing I found one that I can get a good deal on.

Looks like these are the specs.
18cm housing
Compressor inducer: 58.05mm
Compressor exducer: 81.57mm

I am still unsure if this is worth the time and money or not. I will still be stuck with an 18cm exhaust housing.

And I'm guessing you want something that spools a bit quicker... Doesn't seem like much of an 'upgrade' to me, more like a 'sidegrade' .

and with a larger compressor wheel, spool time will be a little longer too. i believe your stock h1c has a 56mm wheel so the h1e's comp. wheel won't be much of a difference at 58mm.

When I looked up h1e on ebay it had them listed as h1e h1c and hx 40 all in the same ad for the same turbo.
