Man, sometimes I post things and feel like they come across as good natured ribbing but later revisit the comments and realize I sound like a USDA Certified, Grade A butthole. That wasn't my intention.

I'm not David's accountant, so I can't speak to how much he's got into his rig over the quarter-century he's owned it. What I do know is that I want to accept that challenge, whether you meant it that way, or not.

Let's see if I can hit 450hp+ and have a transmission that can hold it for less than $5k! (not including the price of the truck).

Saw this on the book of Faces:

FASS
FASS sump
5x14s
58mm BD turbo
3200 spring
Ground fuel pin
Timing spacer
Jumped 1 tooth on the IP gear
60lb valve springs

I also dont recommend BD. They screwed my friend over royally and forgot the courtesy lube packet.

Not with that parts list, or someone fudging the numbers on the computer.

I feel I need to supplement my comment:

That parts list makes is seem so easy. I wonder how long one can maintain that supposed power level (constant), with that build, without leaving a mark?

Uncorrected it's 416, which is still a strong running VE truck...I still would have guessed maybe 350-375, I'd be curious on what boost and everything else is.
