High EGTs after removing turbo compressor please help
Hello guys I rarely post although I’m always browsing the forum and enjoying all the great help thank you! Well. I have a 1993 power ram 4x4 auto i decided to remove the turbo compressor to give it some color and everything went well my wastegate has a plug and an adjustable rod which I put back where it was (so i thought) truck runs good but hotter (egts) than before. Question: is it possible that I restrict airflow? I’m running at 900-1100 egts when before I never saw those numbers Please help. Should I play around with the wastegate rod? Maybe click the turbo?? It’s a HE351
